After its initial release in 2014, Madhouse studio is finally expected to drop the second season of the no game no life series. The second instalment is expected to drop late into 2021 due to the setbacks caused by the ongoing pandemic.
No game no life has a unique and interesting plot with several twists. The is also a movie called “No Game No Life: Zero” which came out on July 15th 2017. The movie smashed the box office making over 700 million yen. Season 2 was nearly cancelled due to claims of plagiarism much to fans disappointment but all that has been cleared now.

Plot
The popular anime follows two step-siblings named Sora and Shiro who belong to a group of gamers called blank. Due to their reputation of being undefeated gamers, Tet a god from an alternate reality challenges them to a game of chess. The siblings end up winning the game and receive an invitation to live in a different world.
The show then follows the siblings on the journey to a world called Disboard. In that world, all the problems between citizens are resolved using games. no physical harm can be inflicted on the citizens due to a powerful spell. So gaming is the only situation to each and every argument. The second season will continue their ongoing quest.
