British period crime drama television series, Peaky Blinders is popular worldwide and has entertained fans with five binge-watching seasons. People have loved the gangster family epic that happens in Birmingham, England, a few months after the first world war in 1919. The story revolves around the Peaky Blinders gang and their boss Tommy Shelby who has very high ambitions. However, their road to glory is not that simple as they catch the attention of authorities and their rivalry begins. Eventually, Tommy becomes the Member of Parliament in season four, and his fate changes.

BBC has not confirmed the release date of Peaky Blinders season 6. However, it is expected that Peaky Blinders season 6 will be released in late 2020.

Shooting of season six was going on when coronavirus pandemic happened and stopped the further shooting in Manchester. It was reported that the production team has done just 23 out of a 78-day shoot when halted the production and sent creators and actors to follow lockdown.

Peaky Blinders director Anthony Byrne was keen to get back to set. He said on Instagram: “Rest assured as soon as we can get back out filming, we certainly will.” Once the series has aired on the BBC, it will be available on Netflix six months later.
