Spider Man 3 led by Tom Holland will once again feature Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. Slated for the 2021 release, the casting list of the movie was revealed in October 2020.
Marvel Studios is co producing the movie with Sony Pictures. This untitled movie has been sorted out by Disney and Sony to stay in the MCU for at least one more movie. The production of this movie has been affected by the global pandemic.
What can we expect from the upcoming Spider Man 3?
As far as the title of the movie is concerned, it will still have the word “home”. It has been significant to this franchise as confirmed by producer Amy Pascal in 2019.
As of now nothing has been revealed about the title of the movie, though Holland promises that it will be “absolutely insane”. In the previous movie of this franchise, “Far from Home”, Peter Parker was left in quite an interesting turn of events. While he was blamed for Mysterio’s destruction, we need to get back Doctor Strange to fix out this mess. He is the only one who can help out with the forgetting spell.
An interesting fan theory suggests that, Ned will take a dark turn rising as the supervillain. Is Mysterio has escaped his destruction and is still alive, Sinister Six will be involved integrally in this three part movie.

Who is coming back for Spider Man 3?
The official casting list was released this month and a number of major characters are returning to the sequel.
Tom Holland is returning as Peter Parker/Spider Man. Zendaya will play MJ. Tony Revolori is reported to join the cast as Flash Thompson. Jacob Batalon is going to be back as Ned, alongside Marisa Tomei who will return as Aunt May.
While we can’t guarantee Jake Gyllenhaal’s return as Mysterio, if this destructed entity rises to power once again, Jake will be back.
Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Doctor Strange will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jamie Foxx, who was seen as Electro in 2014’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” is going to reprise his villainous role in the upcoming movie.
When will Spider Man 3 hit the theatres?
The release date is now officially announced. This untitled film will now release as a part of the MCU on December 17, 2021.
