Tom Holland: How did he become rich and famous?

Tom Holland’s real name is Thomas Stanley Holland, an English actor. He was born on 1 June 1996 in Kingston, upon River Thames. He is recognized as the new Spiderman after entering the incredible world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was also the part of other MCU movies that include, Captain America: Civil War, Spiderman: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: End Game, and Spiderman: Far from Home. In the year 2017, Holland was nominated for BAFTA Rising Star, and he was the youngest among all the nominees.

Early Life

Tom Holland has three younger brothers namely, Harry, Sam, and Patrick. Along with his brother, Tom sponsors The Brothers Trust, a UK Registered Charity that raises funds for various charitable organizations and causes.

Holland was educated at Don head, and graduated from  Wimbledon College. At the age of 7, he was diagnosed with dyslexia. After his graduation from Jesuit Roman Catholic in the year 2012, he went to attend The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon. During his late teens, Tom briefly attended a carpentry school in Cardiff, Wales. He also learned gymnastics for his performance in Billy Elliot the Musical which was the beginning of his career in acting on the stage in London’s West End from 2008 to 2010.

Career

After a few auditions, Tom finally managed to get the main role in the musical Billy Elliot The Musical in the year 2008, and that was his debut performance on the stage which caught many positive attentions. In the year 2011, he was cast for the British voice dub of Ghibli Studio’s movie, Arrietty. Holland’s first feature film was ‘The Impossible’, directed by J.A. Bayona. Through this movie, he received many praises for his brilliant performance. Tom also starred in a drama movie alongside Saoirse Ronan, ‘How I live’. As a supporting actor, he was seen in a movie with Tom Hardy, titled ‘Locke’ in the year 2013. In 2015, he starred in the BBC’s miniseries called Wolfhall. Holland’s world and career turned upside down when he was signed as Peter Parker/ Spiderman, and there was a deal of six movies with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He first appeared in Captain America: Civil War as Spiderman and the movie was a huge success with Holland receiving many positive feedback.

In 2017, Spiderman: Homecoming released and Holland reprised his role from Captain America. He received so many positive praises and was called ‘a born actor’ for incredible performance in the movie. The film earned $800 million worldwide which earned Holland a Guinness Book Of World Record as the youngest actor to play the protagonist in MCU.

Upcoming Projects

Holland will be a part of the movie based on Patrick Ness‘s book, Chaos Walking. It is known that he is cast as a younger Nathan in the movie adaptation of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted video game series. There are few movies in line for Holland which will release in the coming years.
